Three Prayers from the Tassajara Recipe Book - a song cycle for soprano and piano.
Composed in 1991 to poetic prayers written by Edward Espe Brown, which he published with his recipes. Commissioned by Dianne Smith and premiered by Ms. Smith and pianist Gregory Hayes in Amherst, Massachusetts. The recording included here is that performance.
