Chaco Canyon
For solo flute
These impressions of a canyon in New Mexico, home to Ancestral Pueblo tribes known as the Anasazi, were composed in 1994 for flautist Michael Finegold. The work premiered in Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall in New York City on March 14, 1994 and was subsequently recorded by Mr. Finegold in concert at Deerfield Academy, Deerfield, Massachusetts.
