Trio
For violin, cello and piano
The world changes. Society changes. Technology changes. Resources change. And either our infrastructure changes to take advantage of that potential and DRIVE those very changes, or we as a nation and a people will be left behind by those with the daring to invest in their own better future.
Composed for the Solati Trio in 1992-93 and premiered by them on March 26, 1993 at Jordan Hall, New England Conservatory, Boston, Massachusetts. A studio recording of the work was included on the Master Musician’s Collective 1999 CD release entitled The Solati Trio. The live recording included here is from the premiere. The work is performed without pause.
